Drinking Alchohol

Is it safe to have just one alchoholic drink during the first trimester? i'm 9wks +4

Friends are going out at the weekend i'm not sure if i can make it though if my morning sickness continues as i've had it every day since last Thursday.

Also had been drunk 3 times during and after conception, including a all day wedding drink-athon. god I used to go to books shops and read all the pregnancy books until one said don't worry! I only like advice book when they say what I want to hear!

I too got very drunk before I knew I was pg with DS1. I also got married when I was 8 weeks and had a couple (or 4) glasses of champagne that day and a glass of wine every evening with my meal on honeymoon.
I would say you have to go with what you feel comfortable with - a spritzer is a good compromise I found as it is a longer drink and diluted as well!
