Lower back pain in early stages of second pregnancy, is this normal?

For the past 2/3 days I've been suffering from lower back pain. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant - anyone else suffered from back pain so early?

Mine came on from about 8 weeks. It was the hormones, and the start of Pelvic Girdle Pain/ SPD, which I had with 1st pregnancy... so I knew it was in the joints rather than anything more sinister.

I would have a chat with Doctor/MW about it to try to find what's causing it, and if it is joints, get to physio ASAP so you can start with some strengthening exercises so it doesn't degenerate further.

I don't really want to be saying this as I'm sure there's nothing to worry about - but for me lower back pain was a sign of an imminent mis-carriage. Best to get it checked out just in case.

My lower back pain was my only sign of a missed miscarriage im sorry to say but that was at twelve weeks.Hope yours isnt bad news.I would get it checked out .Good luck.
