ante natal preparation in Notting Hill

I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have already started to look for various preparation classes in my area (Notting Hill).
Can anyone recommend me something? I will give birth at St. Mary's, do they have good ante natal classes? I've heard of NCT, I suppose that's a good thing.
I also want to do some pregnancy yoga and aqua gym. Is there a specific aqua gym for pregnant women or is it always general? I could find quite a few tings on different fitness centre websites but I would like to hear any recommandations.
I think I should start exercising soon as long hours at work are already killing me.
Thanks for any advice!

Hi ursigurke. I live in South Ken/Glos Rd area and am 11 weeks. No first hand experience but a friend of mine lives in Notting Hill and I think, did pregnancy yoga at a place on Edge St which she said was really good.

Pretty sure this is it! I think they might do NCT classes too and she didn't book them in time which she was annoyed about as she said it would have been a great way to meet people. She did hers at The Portland but as people came from all over London to give birth there etc it meant she didn't end up with lots of people she knew living in the same area if you see what I mean. So I would book local antenatal classes now if you fancy them in Notting Hill and getting to know local mothers for after the birth. Don't know if that's much help and, of course, I haven't done it myself yet but am in a similar situtaion! Good luck

Thanks Kingsroadie! In fact, I had found your link already and I am quite pleased to hear that your friend liked it there. It would be really convenient for me to have something so close. And I have also heard that there are NCT classes in Notting Hill (don't know if they take place in the life centre). I will definitely try to book one in the next couple of days because I really want to do it locally. It is certainly better if I can meet people from my area especially as I only have one friend who already has a child.
