Apparently not but my hairdresser says there are dyes you can use. I think these are probably vegetable dyes and prob only avaliable at the salon.

I'm 31 weeks and have the most horrendous roots Have just gone cold turkey. I know lots of ladies who have dyed theirs anyway though.

Congratulations x

Depends on the type of colour to an extent (strangely my hairdresser siad it was the darker colours that are more of a problem), but highlights are better than a full head of dye as they don't touch the scalp so can't be absorbed into the skin.

I had my hair dyed last week (am 8 weeks pg) hairdresser said it was fine had very dark brown all over with bleech highlights. she said you cant put bleech on the scalp but the others are fine....

Hi, I dyed my hair throughout my 3 pregnancies with home dyes - all my babies were/are fine!

I have aways dyed my hair while pregnant, I have never heard that it was not allowed. I would be interested in hearing why its not a good idea.
