Bit TMI but feeling abit worried about my bits

Im nearly 39 weeks pregnant, and very very excited about meeting my new baby!
I know it can happen anyday now and soo trying to prepare myself for it as its my first. The problem i have and i feel bad to talk about it and sorry if it too much but while trying to defluff myself down there the other day which i had to prop mysel up on the bed and use a mirror to apply the hair removal cream!! as i cant see my bits becoz ov my huge bump!! LOL i noticed that my labia lips (I KNOW IM SORRY) looked rather big and hanging i was horrified wen i noticed this and im now paranoid about giving birth and the midwifes ect seeing down there. Anyone help?? Is this normal esp that i havnt had any children yet too??

This is absolutely normal apparently. I'm also due to have my first (36 weeks today) and my "ladybits" are the same.

I'm more worried about what it'll all look like after TBH!!

And I certainly wouldn't worry about the MWs - they would have seen a lot worse I'm sure and they won't bat an eyelid - although like you, I'm ensuring that I'm at least "tidy" down there.

You won't care a jot if your labia are touching your toes once you are in labour.

I think the whole area tends to swell during pregnancy, probably due to a higher body temp. and an increased blood volume. I think that is one of the reasons why sex is supposed to be better during pregnancy, so enjoy your engorged flange while you can

I was just horrified and thort to mesel poor hubby!! LOL altho he hasnt sed owt or complained, mayb hes just being nice ha ha.
I know MW's see it all the time but iv just got mesel a bit uptight. Its nice to know others are the same.

My bits are like that, this is pregnancy number 2. I care less about my body this time (I am making a beautiful baby ) but I do remember worrying about all these weird changes the first time. Agree with theory that it makes sex more pleasurable
