Sharp small pains 'down there'??

I am just over 30 weeks and getting small twinges in the 'down there' region. Feels like a constant need to pee but when I do no pee comes out ... Not braxton hicks from what I understand of them - 1st baby so could be wrong. Is it the babies position? Head right on my bladder? The pain lasts only a few seconds ... Seeing GP next week so wondering if I can hold out till then as this is perfcectly normal? Advice will be gratefully appreciated!

maybe urine infection? very common in pregnancy. You need to drink huge amounts of water and cranberry juice. I would go do a wee test just in case it's a bad one as they can turn into kidney infections and cause premature labour

I remember getting 'shocks' down there but not in the same place as my spd and put it down to the baby pushing down and causing shocks in my pelvic floor/ligaments..
He was a long baby and seemed to be on my bladder for the whole pregnancy so just assumed he was trying to stretch out.. Quite disconcerting tho I agree.

Can't remember if it was as early as 30 weeks but it might have been. (He's 3 now)
