I'm 42 and found out last week that I'm pregnant! Does anyone have any tips considering my age? I don't feel particularly different from before. When does the morning sickness start?

Is it your first? (sorry, don't know you!) Congratulations! I think morning sickness starts in the first 6 weeks or so, if you're going to have it. Some lucky sods don't get it at all!

Congratulations - that's brilliant!

Congratulations! I'm having my first at 41. I have nothing to compare it to, but can only say it has been a breeze so far, no sickness, still exercising and at six months can run up all five flights to our flat.

Don't 'consider your age' - everyone else will be busy doing that for you

Congratulations!

You should come over to here: 40s forum.

We're all 40+ and are either preg or just delivered or, really, just can't be arsed to start a new thread! You'd be more than welcome!

Cool! Yes its my first. I thought all my eggs were knackered! Just joined the site this morning! No one else knows (apart from the dad that is!) yet.
