Anyone else had a varicose vein 'down below'?

any tips on relieving the pain? Dear god, whatever next?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Yes I had one, it sortof burned. I think the only thing that really helped was resting. I did try using some quite tight knickers thinking they might support it somehow, but I can't remember if it helped. I suppose you could try putting ice on it? wouldn't leave it on long though.

yes they're hideous, so freaked out by it I went to see the GP who recommended heavy duty support pants. Can't remember whether I bought them in Mothercare or Boots but they did help. On the bright side they do disappear when the baby arrives.

My GP gave me a prescription for some support tights! They did relieve it a bit. But agree - they miraculously disappear after the baby is born!
