Lie isn't an issue until you get to 37 weeks is it?

try this

kwaker I am not 100% sure but just worried with her allegedly measuring bigger although am hoping that is because of the position she is in rather than her being bigger

I'm sure your midwife would say if he/she were concerned. If your baby is still breech at 37 weeks, they usually offer to try and turn them.

Until then, I think you can help increase chances of baby going head down with the postures/exercises in that list. The classic thing used to be scrubbing floors because is got your pelvis higher than your head!

Hi, I work as a photographer on a maternity ward and recently there was a mum who was only about 5ft 5, very slim and she gave birth naturally to a 12lb baby and both were fine so don't worry about the size. Hope baby turns for you though xx

Are they sending you for a scan? I was measuring bigger so I was scanned (actually I was already being scanned anyway as had low placenta at 21 weeks) and they found polyhydramnios, plus baby was big too. My baby has so much room to move because of the fluid, despite being big, that he or she is either breech or transverse most of the time and just kind of floats around all over the place. I have been offered ECV at 39 weeks - this is because there's so much fluid that baby could move back if done earlier, but you should be offered ECV at 37/38 weeks if still breech at that point.

My last baby was breech until 36 weeks and then turned at some point before 38 week appt - I think that as it's your 4th, there's every chance your baby will be able to move because your uterus has been stretched IYKWIM. Fingers crossed.

hi my baby was a footling breech until 36 weeks and i was measuring 48 yes 48 weeks according to the tape i had to be sent for growth scans because of this they estimated she would be 11pound plus by scan! ITS JUST AN ESTIMATE but not a very accurate one and remember if your baby is breech you will measure bigger because of the position.

They ended up inducing me a week early because of her size i was terrified of how big she was going to be! My monster baby will be 4 weeks on thursday and was 9lbs 8oz at birth (her pic on profile)! and a dream no tears or stitches. so dont worry yourself silly its amazing what your body is capable off! good luck

thanks all
they did tell em both DDS were going to be huge and even when in labour with dd1 said she was over 10lbs and stuck[from a scan] and took me down for c section but I asked them to try and break my waters first. Turned out I had so much water she was just bobbing everywhere and when she was born she was 6lb14.
I think I am just stressing as really dont fancy a c sec while dealing with a 5,3,2yr old and newborn afterwards!!!
I am back to mw in 2wks and will be going for scan if they think she is still breech. I am supposed to be getting induced around 38/39wks anyway so obviously need her to be in position asap

Wow, they really did get it wrong with your first baby!

I have 5 other children, so want to avoid a c-section mainly because of that, I absolutely know what you mean! I am off to the hospital this afternoon for a chat about everything and prob another scan to see what's what. I must confess I don't fancy ECV but a c-section doesn't exactly appeal either. I think it's safe to say I really don't know what to do for the best.....
