discharge at 7 weeks pregnant

This is my third pregnancy. My first went perfectly (bar the pre-eclampsia and emergency c-section!)and I now have a gorgeous 2 year old boy, the second was in January and I miscarried at 6 weeks. I am currently 7 1/2 weeks gone.

I'm a little concerned because i'm having a LOT of discharge at the moment.

It's clear and doesn't seem to smell but there is just loads and loads of it and I feel constantly wet! I keep checking to see if I've started bleeding because it feels so much like I could be. I've started wearing panty liners but they don't seem to soak much up.

Should I be worried?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I can understand you being worried, but this sounds normal to me. I've had that throughout this pregnancy and am now coming up on 17 weeks.

Thanks MrsHappy, I'm just a little concerned because I didn't have this much discharge when I was pregnant with DS...

Yes, but every pregnancy is different. This is my second pregnancy to make it this far and I feel utterly different to how I did with my daughter. This time I spent the first few weeks paranoid because I wasn't tired and my boobs didn't hurt (as they had with DD), but hey, after those weeks I developed shocking all day morning sickness instead!

The discharge is, I think, just your mucus plug building up.

totally normal IME, i had this too, throughout both my pregnancies. congrats by the way.

Here you go: the NHS thinks it's normal too

I'm having the same issue...I'm 12 weeks now and it's been about 3 weeks it's been pretty heavy. This is my 2nd, but DD is 13 1/2 yr old now! I'm going to be 40 next week and this pg is kicking me in the rear. I'm soooo tired and feel cramps and pulling a lot more than I remember ever before. Hang in there, I'm sure we have so much more lovely things to look forward to, hee hee!

I've got my booking in with the Midwife next Monday so i will ask her about it then.

In the meantime it's just a little bit gross. Looks like this pregnancy could cost me a fortune in panty liners
