I'm 33 weeks pregnant with no. 2 and getting really, really bad pain in my lower back and down the bottom of the bump. It's got to the point where, by the end of the day, I'm really struggling to walk. And the days I go to work the commute absolutely flattens me, even if I do get a seat.
I know things like picking up DD don't help - but she's only 16 months old, and teething, so not picking her up is not an option! I've tried to mitigate it by, e.g., getting her to climb onto my lap while I'm sitting and then standing up from there. But yesterday I found myself getting snappy with her when we needed to go downstairs and she wouldn't go down by herself but either wanted me to carry her or to continue running around upstairs.
Does anyone have any tips I could try? The pain in the bump is the worst - it's really low down and is worst as I stand up or start walking.
Given it's 7 weeks (at least) until baby no. 2 arrives, I feel I have to find something to help. I'm really sore, it's limiting what I do and is making me snappy, which is not fair on DD or DH .
