Has anyone else suffered from varicose veins in the vulva (and is prepared to admit it)?
Am currently 37 weeks and discovered a small lump yesterday.
After much shenanigans with a mirror I managed to have a look (not easy when you have a bump as big as mine !) and I have what looks like a blood blister on the outer labia...its not huge but bigger than a normal blood blister/spot and is blackish purple in colour. It doesnt really hurt but is a bit tender and does itch a bit.
Do you think its a varicose vein or something else?...I have an appt with midwife next week but would really like to put my mind at rest that its nothing more serious before then.
also how quickly did it go away and do you have to be careful when you are getting down to it with DH ! (not much of a problem at the moment tbh)
