just a little bit of advice needed - baby has been resonabily active to date, no cause for concern but the last week I've struggled to feel 10 movements, on a good day I get about 15 with long periods of 'silence' I can't decide if its an issue as I'm getting the movements in 18 hr period, is it a sign of something wrong or just one of those things?

this is baby no3 btw and the other two never stopped moving so this pg is completely diff

If you are worried at all speak to your midwife or doctor.

I did and had a ECS that same day.

The baby is probably just sleepy, try to not worry too much.

definatively worth phoning the midwife and going in for monitoring, I'm sure everything is fine but it's worth checking. They are usually really good with these things.

MW said its my call which isn't v helpful, they are more than happy to monitor me but I don't want to be wasting their or my time - I have 2 ds's just 3 and 17mo... MW said the recommended is 10 movements which I am getting but if I need the reassurance then I should go... does anyone else have a quiet baby?
