I'd keep them elivated as much as possible I think. Sleep with a pillow under them and try to keep them up in the day.
Also, maybe you could try some mild exercise to keep the blood flowing, you know like just moving ankles in circular motions or something?
Also see what your gp/mw suggest

Is it all over or in any particular area? Do you notice any discolouration? Any swelling in areas? Any areas tender to the touch? If so, ring your midwife and let her know.

Some women will find using compression stockings helps to relieve discomfort...keeping them elevated, as littleboyblue suggested, can be helpful as well. If you have access to a swimming pool, being in the water helps sometimes too.

@ doulalc: yes, the pain is all over whenever i stand, feels like the pressure is all in my legs that causes me difficulty in walking. no discoloration nor swelling but i can see some small varicose veins-like that line my legs...

@ littleboyblue: i tried moving my ankles as i sit in the office from 8-5... i still feel weak, maybe in two days, if i still feel the same, i should see the doctor

xx

Please go and see doctor. If there is no swelling it is unlikely to be DVT - esp. as in both legs, but it is not unheard of. It could be sciatica, which can affect both legs and is excrutiating.

Whatever it is, you need to get checked.
