Just found out i'm pg , about 4 weeks i think.
BUT, (the 'oh crap' part) yesterday I drank loads and smoked (gave up apart from the odd social one last year).
I know i can't undo but i feel wretched and so worried

Don't worry - loads and loads of people do the same thing - you haven't even been sharing a blood supply with the baby yet so no harm done I'm sure!

If it is any consolation I was at the Galway Oyster festival before I realised I was pregnant - this entailed eating oysters, drinking vast quantities of Guinness and smoking 20 a day.

DS perfectly happy healthy baby and growing into strapping, intelligent young man.
