I'm 16 weeks pg and only in the last month has it became common knowledge. so at the weekend there was a big rugby tournament people come from all over to watch it, and we go every year.

i bumped into loads of people i hadn't seen in a while who congratulated me on the pg and then proceeded to rub / poke / touch my not very big bump, one person even tried to pull my top up!!!

what is going on, i don't remember anyone doing this when i was pg the last time!

i don't think i would ever just touch someones bump!

it gave me the creeps!

Rub/pat/poke their belly back.....
I have never been able to understand why people do this either.

I know people mean well, are happy for you, and are not trying to be rude, but it is.

Perhaps some people don't mind if it is a good friend or family member, but others would even then and certainly if it comes from people they don't know well.

I guess all you can do is speak up and say something, accept it might happen, or become really good at deflecting their hand when you see them start to make a move....

Next time someone grabs your bump, reach out and grab their belly fat, or muffin top, or their boobs! (Male and female.)
God, it's bloody annoying, isn't it? I wanted to bite people's hands off!!
