I have excruciating pain in the top right hand side of my back. It's killing me and I'm finding it hard to move. Not sure about going to the GP as I know he will just say it's pregnancy related and to rest but I am quite worried. Anybody else had this problem?

Sounds like you've slept awkwardly or pulled something. GPs are useless for this sort of thing - can you see a chiropractor?

I have the same. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I honestly feel that it's just the strain of the weight of the baby on my back. Do go see someone if you are that concerned. Pregnancy is not easy:-(

Chiroprator is worth his weight in gold, have a look and see whats in your area. They are especially good for balancing moods too so quite suitable for pregnancy!

How far gone are you?

Shoulder tip pain (which can be described as back pain) can be a symptom of an eptopic if you are in the first trimester. If this is the case you need to be seen ASAP.
