Achey, dull pains low down 38 weeks pregnant

I am just over 38 weeks pregnant and for last fewdays have had dull achey pains low down where my private bits are LOL.

Sometimes its like period pain and other times i can actually feel baby moving about low down and it sumtimes sends a shooting pain, is anybody else experiencing this??

Hi Shell.. I have the exact same thing going on and I am 38 weeks pregnant. It's been happening for the last 3 weeks and has just got worse. As far as I know it is the baby just nestling down and getting ready to make it's big entrance into the world. But at least you know things are starting. Good luck. It won't be long now. :-)

Thanx for ur reply hun, i was at midwife today and i mentioned it to her, and she sed babys head had moved further down than last time i saw her she didnt actually say whether head was engaged or not just that its further down than last time last time it was 3-4 5ths down.
She sed the pain im feeling is the baby pushing down and obv becoz baby can still move around and rotate thats the feeling im getting.
Sooo yeh baby is sure getting ready!!! whoo hoo, wot date are u due?? Is this ur first???
