New look have some with a whole jersey waistband, butthey are not over the bump. Will link you in a sec.

Over the bump can get very uncomfy.

ScorpiowithabigS · 08/05/2009 11:18

they are very comfy

S79 · 08/05/2009 11:19

ScorpiowithabigS Thanks, i actually did buy the ones with the jersy wasitband but they dont seem to stay up, so i gave them back. Plus i've spoken to a few mums who said they had to buy over the bump after 5mths!

Thanks ladies

I love my H&M jeans

McSnail · 08/05/2009 12:38

I second H&M. I wear them everyday (have done from about fifteen weeks - I'm now 28 weeks)
Very comfy. Skinny legged.

McSnail · 08/05/2009 12:39

And yes, they're over the bump ones.

sobloodystupid · 08/05/2009 13:11

don't get Dorothy Perkins. You will be a like the Old Prospector with one hand on your pants the whole time. I did have brilliant ones, will do a rummage and find out who made em. Congrats!

sobloodystupid · 08/05/2009 13:12

flowery have you news?

flowerybeanbag · 08/05/2009 13:14

Am 13 weeks today

sobloodystupid · 08/05/2009 13:16

Brilliant news! Hope you are feeling well. Sorry if I "outed" you. Congratulations!

flowerybeanbag · 08/05/2009 13:23

Thanks! No problem about outing, if I'd been desperate to keep it under cover a bit longer I would have name changed to blatantly lurk on a thread about maternity jeans...

Feeling sick on and off and patches of exhaustion as well, but all in all not too horrendous. Hoping sickness starts to improve shortly...

sobloodystupid · 08/05/2009 13:27

Well, a report last week said that mothers who suffered morning sickness, had more intelligent babies! start saving for Oxford or similar now...

flowerybeanbag · 08/05/2009 13:54

Really?!

jstock · 08/05/2009 14:18

I got some fab overbump jeans from red herring at debenhams, have lived in then all the way through pregnancy, they had quite a good selection

S79 · 08/05/2009 14:25

GAP did some great ones when I was pregnant but I have only seen them in the Oxford St store.

princessmel · 08/05/2009 14:32

I was looking on the Next website earlier and it wouldn't show me ANY maternity wear. Very frustrating. Not sure what was wrong with it.

jstock · 08/05/2009 14:33

s79, No I went for bootcut but I'm sure they had some skinnies

sockmonster · 08/05/2009 16:48

First time around I got some amazing skinny jeans that were completely over-the-bump from Zara.
They lasted me the whole pregnancy. I found that ones with lower waistbands fell down Go to Zara!! I don't know if they still have them as this would have been 2007 stock, but I'm sure they'll have something similar. All the other jeans I bought were rubbish (h&m, mothercare, james jeans, topshop).

Now I'm trying to recall what I did with all my maternity clothes!

S79 · 08/05/2009 17:32

Thanks everyone, after spending almost the whole day on the net searching for over the bump skinny jeans i have found two in topshop. I'm off to try them on... I'll report back on my findins later!!

Thanks x
