Is it possible to get pg the day after your period finishes?

Considering I have an EXTREMELY long cycle ... average of 43 days, sometimes 47 ... so was assuming I ovulate well into the latter part of the month, around day 30 or so ... at least that would hold true from the conception of DS and DD.

But I do feel sooooo pg ...! Nausea and all sorts, but 2 BFNs so far ... eeeeek!

Yes, it is possible.....while you may usually ovulate around a norm, this can be off every now and then. Since sperm can live a few days....some several days, if you ovulated earlier than your norm, it is possible to become pregnant from intercourse the day after your period ends.
This is partly why there is no 100% safe time to avoid pregnancy....just some times that are less likely than others.

Of course, you may be fighting an illness and that could be the cause for your nausea and such too. See what happens when your period is due and test again if need be.

Hi

I am pregnant now and have long and sometimes non-exsistent cycles. I had my hormones tested so many times I felt like a pin cushing and I was told I was an anovual menstruator - i.e I did not produce eggs. Anyway I am now pregnant, and by all accounts I got pregnant on day 6 - a time I had never been tested to ovulate as it is normal midway - everyone was stunned. So go figure?
