I'm 19 weeks pregnant and everything I eat tastes like battery acid.
Why?
What can I do to stop the horrid taste.

How can I cook for others when I can't tell if it tastes OK?

just wanted to say hi and sorry you are going through this since no one else has replied! i went through a few weeks of everything tasting yuk too earlier on in this pregnancy. it should pass?

my mother would say re cooking for others, 'they're bloody lucky to have anything at all' and if you're pregnant and struggling, she's be right!

Hiya

Just wanted to sympathise as I am currently 17 weeks and for about the past month or so have had a pretty horrid taste in my mouth. It's not typically metallic as is often the case with pregnancy its just yuk and makes me feel a bit nauseous.

I chew gum most of the day which releives it.

Hope it goes soon for both of us.

Take care x

I found that nothing gets rid of it, its horrible but mine eventually went away after a few weeks.....
