Twins!

Am expecting twins and feel very excited but also very nervous about how we'll cope etc. DS is 4 and quite a handful, love him. Anyone else in this position?

oh congratulations! Are they identical or fraternal? I am 30 weeks and expecting identical twin girls...i was absolutely shocked and overwhelmed when i first found out and am still a bit nervous as this is my first pregnancy but there is a lot of support out there. Have you heard of TAMBA? There are a lot of women on there who have had a baby first and then had twins who would be happy to share their stories and advice!

I have five month old G/B twins and a 24 month old toddler. It's a wonderfully scary rollercoaster.

I also go to the tamba twin club once a week to meet and talk with others and that has been very helpful.

Congratulations Vtired. I'm 35 weeks pregnant with b/g twins and have a 2.7 year old. The multiples forum on here is really helpful as is TAMBA and I've found our local twins club really friendly and reassuring!

Thanks very much for your feedback. Am expecting b/g twins so non-identical. Relieved to know it is a "fun" rollercoaster . Am panicking as DS starts reception same week they're due so its all happening at oe. Losing DS to "big school" and coping with newborn twins and after effects of C-section too.

congrats! I have 6 year old boys. When they were born I also had a 3 and 5 year old. I had a complicated section too but managed OK! I adore having twins!

I'm in the same boat as you twins123, and no history of it in the family either!
