Bleeding after sex

Hi newbie here.

I have read that it is very common to bleed after sex but should I still be bleeding 5 days later, I am 12 weeks pregnant and have no cramping or pains. This is my second pregnancy and I did have some light bleeding in the first trimester with my first and again some light spotting at 8 weeks this time, but at the moment it's almost like a light period.

Many thanks.

Welcome!

To be honest, I would phone a midwife or GP immediately. Bleeding in pregnancy could be a sign of something wrong, and you need to get it checked out as soon as possible.

NHS advice on this is here.

I hope that you are alright though, and good luck.
