I think mine kicked in at 4/5 weeks, but that seems a bit early, so I'm wondering if I've got my dates wrong?

Congratulations!

My MS kicked in before I knew I was pg. I thought I was ill. I was about 5 weeks when I found out I was pg and had been feeling ill for a week so 4 weeks sounds about right.

Its the worst feeling, I hope it passes quickly for you.

MrsMattie · 07/05/2009 12:33

5 weeks with DS. Was really bad between 10-16 weeks.

6 weeks with DD (although had one random puking episode at 4 weeks, which alerted me to the fact I might be up the duff...). The evil hyperemesis kicked in at 6 weeks, though. Started to 'ease' into morning sickness of a normal variety by 16 weeks, but didn't stop puking on a daily basis until 22 wks.

Thanks for responses. I'm sure that with dd it kicked in much later - more like 7/8 weeks, maybe it's just different each time.

Mine was 6 weeks with dd, and am now 5+4, and only feel mildly nauseous occasionally. Hope it's not a bad sign!

Trikken · 07/05/2009 13:38

five weeks with this pg, but it seemed almost instantaneous with ds, although dh had been ill so may have had his illness too.

ThePhantomPlopper · 07/05/2009 13:43

I had two bouts of nausea 2 days before I was due on with my DD. Never threw up though.

Started at 9 weeks with DS and stopped at 13. Threw up on 5 separate occasions and had one full day of throwing up EVERY 15 minutes, I could set my watch by it.

a week before AF was due - I kid you not!!

FlappytheBat · 07/05/2009 21:25

2 days before AF was expected!

YanknCock · 08/05/2009 12:07

1st barfing incident was dead on 6 weeks. I hadn't felt sick/nauseous at all and was soooo surprised, but in retrospect, pregnacare washed down with diet coke on an empty stomach was probably not the best thing for me!

After that, just nausea for a few weeks...then the real fun started around 10/11 weeks, and I've been throwing up ever since (24 weeks now!) I had a bit of respite between 21-22 weeks, but thrown up the last three days. God I hope it's a fluke.

At six weeks. And general fatigue and overall feeling grotty. And it's only starting to lift at nearly 15 weeks.

I think it varies from pgy to pgy.
