This may sound thick but does this sound like morning sickness

I am just after some advice really. I am only 6 weeks pregnant and for the last 4 days have been feeling sick all day, my tummy feels like I have a constant hangover - the feeling I used to get after drinking too much wine really really acidey, feels like whatever I eat just sits and could come up and anytime - luckily it doesn't, it doesn't matter if I eat all day it doesn't seem to give, plus I am only eating becasue I have to, I have no appetite what so ever, the thought of any food or drink makes me feel ill. Does this sound like classic morning sickness, this will be my 2nd dc and although I had morning sickness with my first I can't really remember how I felt. Is there anything thatI could take to maybe settle my stomach - not sure if gaviscon would help. Also seem to burp alot after food which feels nice but the acidey feeling comes back straight after

Any help would be great.

Sounds like it - I'm almost 7 weeks and though I don't want to throw up I keep feeling like there is lead in my stomach and what food I do eat is just sitting there - this morning after brekkie I got heartburn for this first - time so have just cracked open the gaviscon - nice!!

I've got horrendous heartburn at just 5+4! Hideous. I don't feel sick unless I don't eat, and my tummy is really quite sore.

Fun.

me too, just awfully uncomfortable all the time!feel sick all day, not just in the mornings, and it does feel like a hangover, will never drink again!

i try to eat little and often as they say. seems to help a bit, not thrown up that much, but still feel sick all the time!!just read some things on the sickness carrying on longer than 12weeks, not sure if i can stand that...

Thanks for your replies girls and sorry to hear you are all suffering as well, the joys hey, although trying not to complain.
Think I am going to give gaviscon a go and see if that helps at all, and pray that it will only like this for the first trimester, like you say blommetjie I am not sure If could feel like this for much longer, as soon as I get up in the morning it hits me like a ton of bricks.

gaviscon is quite good, but expensive. you can ask the pharmacy for an alternative-got a big bottle of similar stuff(can't remember name) for about 1/5 of the price of gaviscon! rennies are also good, easy to have with you all the time. they make lovely chewy sweet-like ones now, great!

Oh didn't realise you could take rennies, will stock up on them aswell, thanks for the advice.
