HCG levels after trigger shot (icsi)

I have just found out that I am pregnant after my first icsi cycle following 2 1/2 years ttc. I actually can't believe it but am very happy!

I have just had a sobering thought though, does anyone know how long the hcg from the trigger shot stays in your system. I am now terrified that I have got a false positive. I took my trigger in the early hours of 21/04 and had 5 day embryo put back on 27/04.

Thanks for any replies

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Here's some info from peeonastick.com.

This article suggests 12-14 days from the date of the shot is fine.

So congratulations - it sounds like a genuine BFP to me.

Thank you so much for that.
I shall do another test in morning I think, then perhaps another, oh and then another just to be sure.......
