Anemia - tips wanted to boost iron levels

As with my last pregnancy, I am anemic again, only this time I cant seem to boost my iron levels, and with only 3 weeks to go and a 19 month old to run around after I am starting to worry that I will be too tired to give birth!

Last time i was given different iron tablets - large red ones,(i think ferrous sulphate) this time I am on ferrous fumerate. As well as taking floridix, which last time managed to control my iron levels after a couple of weeks on the tablets. I was wondering if the sulphate tablets are better than the fumerate???

True- ive probably not been eating as well this time and remembering to take my tablet twice a day with the appropriate foods but I didnt have DS1.

I have heard of spa tone - is it better than floridix??

Would be grateful for any tips to get over the permanent err feeling and allow me to enjoy these last few weeks.

hmm tbh would the iron tabs all do the same stuff just different doseages? it shouldnt be from docs it should be chemist and should be free what ever it is?! what dose are you on?
