Hi loganberry...

I'm 25 weeks and I get strange stretching pains quite a bit. Worst are the ones after I empty a really full bladder (been sleeping through for some STUPID reason so the half six wee is causing me AGONY).

I imagine my womb as a hot air balloon tethered in a field on a windy day... all the creaking noises that would make manifest as pains!

But I have, of course, discussed this with my MW who was sympathetic but resigned.

I am 24 weeks and just been given a femmebrace (?) from a physio!!! Had same pains you describe before, plus at end of day can hardly lift my legs on and off sofa/bed! Got exercises to do too and advise such as NO LIFTING, NO HOOVERING, NO MAKING THE BED, NO BENDING DOWN TO PUT WASHING IN!!!!!

how long I have waited for someone to tell me I am not to do these things, but sadly, life isnt that easy! The brace is a killer too, like wearing a bra thats too tight!

That said, am doing my exercises, taking paracetemol, doc says can take occasional codine (although undecided on that yet) and trying to rest when I can, much to my 2 year olds annoyance!!!

Best of luck

I've been having pains if I stretch/move/ get up quickly. Think/hope it's just stretchy ligaments. They are sharp pains....come and go quickly thenkfully.

Also have intermittent pelvic girdle pain. At the mo' it's eased off again. Making a huge difference to daily life and work.

Have given up exercise as I don't know how to do things gently....
