Spotting at 22wks pg

Last night (Sunday) we were camping in the middle of nowhere (typical) when I noticed a tiny amount of spotting, hardly even a 1p size. I then became a knicker checker every hour, but that was it. In the last 24hours there hasn't been any more spotting at all. I have tried to get hold of my midwife but her phone goes to her answer phone and she obviously hasn't picked up my message yet...either that or she doesn't think I need to worry.
I am 22 weeks pg now and have been told that I need a re-scan at 34wks for a low lying placenta so I'm thinking this could be connected.
I probably over did it all day yesterday and this was my body's way of telling me to slow down...so I did today. The baby has been kicking as much as he normally does at regular intervals throughout the day so do I need to worry about 1 tiny amount of spotting?
Many thanks

Most likely not....chances are it was from the previa. If you had not be instructed to refrain and had had recent intercourse it could have been from that as well.

Your midwife should be ringing you back...if you don't hear from her, try again....the peace of mind is worth it.
