When is the first time the midwife hears your babies heart beat????

Hiya
Does anyone know how many weeks you have to be before your midwife can hear the babies heartbeat when doing the ultra sound? x

12 weeks I think x

The first time I heard it was at the 12 week scan. After that I got to have a listen through the doppler at each appointment.

i have heard quite early with both my girls before 8-10 weeks but i was quite slim not sure about this one lol
