I am having odd symptoms 5 weeks after a miscarriage. Hormones out of kilter or pregnant?!

Hello,

just wondered if anyone had any ideas about this. I had a miscarriage and ERPC 5 weeks ago on Tuesday. Bleeding stopped fairly quickly, and myself and husband resumed bedroom activities as normal.
Have done some pregnancy tests since, some coming up with a faint line, and others negative. I am really unsure whether my hormone levels have gone down completely from the miscarriage. I haven't had a period since.
My boobs have been killing me for the past few days, and this morning I noticed that my boobs seem to be producing milk.
So, ladies, did anyone else produce milk after a miscarriage, are my hormones going haywire, or could I possibly be pregnant again?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry to hear about your mc. How many weeks were you?

The length of time it takes for hcg to leave your system depends on how far along in your pregnancy you were. I had a mc at 12 weeks and it took almost 35 days to come up negative on a pregnancy test. I've also miscarried at 7 weeks, and it was negative within a few days.

I've had 4 mc and I've never produced milk after them. But then again, I've never produced milk in the first trimester in my successful pregnancies either.

I was 9 weeks. I've never produced milk in my first trimester with my DD, a whole new experience for me!

I mc on 27th July last year and after 6 weeks when I hadn't got my period I went to drs and they sent me for a scan turns out I was pregnant with a new pregnancy.

According to the scan they've dated me from 2nd August, though i know it was the weekend after
I'm now due on saturday.

Fingers crossed
