Had 3 babies before always had them 4-5 days before my due date, is it possible to go over due this time?

im 39+3 weeks. Had a sweep done last thrusday, and to be honest midwife didnt sound very positive. and has written posterior, thick, soft uneffaced. Multips os. Head -2.
She did try to explain to me what all this meant, but i think i was so down hearted regarding the midwifes lack of positivity of the sweep working, i didnt really listen.
My other 3 were all born a few days before their due date. And naturally i had assumed this would be the case again
Is it common to have pre due date babies, then have a over due?

I have two children, my first was four days early. Like you I assumed that my second would be early too. So I hate to tell you that I had to be induced at 42 weeks. Never occured to me that that would happen. Outcome was a lovely healthy baby after 25 minute labour!!

I have certainly had 2 pre due date and my third was overdue (although only by a day!). DS 1 was a week early and DS 2 was 3 weeks early so I was also expecting DS 3 to be early but he made me wait until the he was ready

With babies, anything is possible: mine were 12 days late, 12 days early and exactly on due date.
