Am I pregnant, advise please?!

Hi, Im new to this but wanted to get your advise? I am due on my period on Sunday so in 6 days but for the last week I have been feeling bloated, weeing alot and feeling nautious. also my boobs feel a little sore when I touch them. this would be my second baby and a much wanted one. Im going out of my mind wanting to know. just taken a test and it said negative but it was a cheap home pregnancy one. was it too early to take it? someone please help?!

I could have written your post. It is too early to test I think. Even the ones specially designed to detect the pg hormone early can't do it much before 4dys before your period I don't think.

thanks, its just the anticipation, i will be gutted if my period comes but never felt like this before it has come before. thanks for the reply x

I doubt that any tests would give a reliable result 6 days pre-period. The symptoms sound hopeful, but then PMT symptoms and PG symptoms can be remarkably similar. So you're just going to have to wait and test again if your period doesn't come.

Probably to early to test tbh. I know you must feel impatient but I would wait until a couple of days after your period is due.

would i be getting symtoms this early though? if i am, would only be 4 weeks sunday (if im calculating it right, first day of last period was 5th april)?

I was puking a week before period was due (and not stopped since at 11wks!), and many other symptoms this 2nd pg, so it is possible.

However, I tested with a branded test (pink one cant remember the name) the day before my period was due and the line was so faint almost not there. It would have not been there a couple days before even though I had horrendous sickness.

It is frustrating, the waiting isn't it? Fingers crossed and let us know when you find out.

Am in the same boat as you really, prob will test in a few days time. I hate this inbetweeny bit though - you kinda put your life on hold until you know either way!

I had reeeeally sore/tingly boobs and felt v tired and sick at 3 weeks - got a v v v faint positive at 9DPO so you never know. Am still feeling pretty sick, at 10 and a half weeks! Good luck ladies!!

hi ladies, well period came yesterday so not pregnant, totally gutted but heres to more fun trying trying to keep chin up x
