5 weeks and some bleeding - any help?

I'm 5w 2d and i noticed a light pink discharge about 3 hours ago when I went to the loo. I've been back to the loo about 3 times since and haven't really seen any more but I have developed a dull ache in my lower back and the left side of my abdomen.

I'm trying not to panic but i had a m/c in jan and it started this way, with small amounts of bleeding which eventually became very heavy. Trying to remain calm but don't know what to do - should I go to work tomorrow? Should I go to the Drs? Any help anyone?

I would go to your doctors just to be on the safe side. I had a light bleed, at 7 weeks and slight cramping (like my period was about to start). I managed to get appt for early pregnancy scan and see heartbeat but this can only be done from 6 weeks.

I hope all is well, I know it's hard but try not to worry xx

Thanks redboxer for your message. I called the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit this morning and they said there was no point me coming in now - you wouldn't be able to see anything anyway. So, i've got an app for a week tomorrow when I'd be 6w4d. I hardly believe I'm going to make it that far. I feel so worried after what happened last time. But I should feel positive. The bleeeding's stopped now and in all it was only a very small amount, not even enough to spot my underwear, just a bit on the tissue paper. It's so hard not to panic!
How far are you now?
