help me i'm being eaten alive by some thing. the bites are driving me mad

i am 19wks preg and are being eaten alive. i'm starting to get really cheesed off by this now as the itching is driving me mad. i have been to the chemist and all they can give me is camamile lotion which helps for a couple of hours. have any of u got some advise for something i can take or use. apart from the bites i have been fine and can feel the little one moving around. i just want to feel a big kick now. hope some one can help me xxx

Have you got actual insect bites around your ankles (flea bites?). If so you can try antihistamine cream like Anthisan - it's topicla so can't hurt the baby.

I f it is more general itching in pregnancy it might not be due to insect bites - it can be due to skin changes because of the hormones or very rarely a liver problem.

Go and see your GP?

its all over my body. i have heard of a pregnancy rash. but i'm not sure bout that. thanks i'll get some of that cream and i'm going to go to the docs tomo. thanks xx

Sounds like what i've just had,I thought they were flea bites at first around ankles but then itchy spots joined up into a really itchy rash up legs.Doctor said it was a hormone related flare up that can just happen in pregnany.I used zenoxone cream(hydrocortizone)which cleared it straight up.
