If a miscarriage is going to happen, I very much doubt it'll be because you had sex.

I tried to abstain after some bleeding early in this pregnancy, but I was just being unrealistic expecting both me and DP to go without, in case something which is completely out of our hands happened again.

Congratulations on the pregnancy, and have some fun!

I had sex throughout pregnancy and at 16 weeks after a bit of a rough session I started bleeding. We panicked and thought we wee gonna MC. We wen straight to A&E, had pg test done, spoke to nurse and she said id be fine.

Consultant came in after Nurse and said 'your going to miscarry. bleeding in pregancy is a sign of MCing.' He was from another country and I dont think he should have been a doctor. Making new parent feel the way we did. nurse spoke to us again and confirmed everything was ok and it was unlikely ud miscarry from having sex. I seemed to trust her more!

It happened again at 22 weeks and we didnt do anything. We had follow up scan with another nice consutlant (because of dd having echogenic bowel) and he asked whether id bled after sex during pg. He confirmed this to be the result of DD having EB. After all the worrying, my dd is absolutely fine apart form a milk allergy!
