Leaky boobs!!

I have had leaky boobs since about 18 weeks (31+5 now) and mainly the liquid has been clear or milky/ yellowish. However, the last week or so the liquid has been very orange?! Just wondering if this was normal, or might I have an infection?! I haven't really been giving my boobs much air, due to them leaking and me having to wear breast pads, so I have been wearing a bra day and night for the last 3 months or so. Could the ducts have got infected, or something along those lines? Or is it just normal?!

I think this is normal tbh. If it was an infection, I'm fairly certain you'd know by now. The clear/yellow fluid is colostrum and is perfectly normal. I think I've heard of it going orange in colour before ~ perhaps you could do a search?

I dont know whether to take the lack of responses to this as people thinking I am being too stupid to worry about something that is so obviously normal, or that other people haven't experienced this and I should worry!!

I'm sure I read somewhere that colostrum is orange. I think it's normal, if a bit of a PITA!

If you're worrying about it, its not stupid.

I think if it was an infection there would be other signs such as heat & soreness etc. I would call your midwife, just to make sure.

Boobs do strange things when pg, its probably normal & nothing to worry about.
