low amniotic fluid in one identical twin

Hi - we went for our 20 week scan today and were told that one of the twins had low amniotic fluid - we are very concerned. Additionally, the same twins head is apparently more oval shaped than it should be, although they said this may be because it is in the breech position with its head under my ribcage. Both of these things together are concerning us and wondered if anyone out there had similar experience?

I have identical daughters. At one scan (sorry, I don't remember how many weeks, but we were having frequent scans because they shared a placenta - fortnightly most of the time) I was told one of the girls had low amniotic fluid. By the next scan her level was normal and at every scan after that. My twins are eight now and in perfect health.

Hi, you should also come and post on the Multiple Births forum, you are bound to get good advice on there. I don't have any experience of this, but there will be other twin mums who will have come across it I'm sure.
