period cramp type pain at 36 weeks, Help!

Ive been having these pains on and off for a couple of weeks. It's a constant pain so not contractions but really uncomfortable. I've spoken to midwife who seems unconcerned. I've got Placenta Praevia and the baby was back-to-back at my last appoitment. Could any of these things be causing it?

sounds like a type of Braxton Hicks to me - the 'practice' contractions your body does in later pregancy. If you move areound and it stops, it's most likely BH.
