Has anyone delivered in the birthing unit at St Mary's Hospital?

Decisions, decisions. Has anyone given birth in this particular birthing unit before? If so, how did you find it? And how long did you get to stay post delivery? Thanks!

St Marys Paddington? Yep, gave birth to DS2 there in February - midwives were lovely, birth was great (had a waterbirth), and as gave birth at night DH, DS2 and I spend the night in a room there all together after the birth. You can stay up to 24 hours post birth there - but we only stayed around 14 hours post birth as wanted to get home to DS1. Parking is a mare around there - unless you give birth at night (which I did) when you can park on the streets outside but then need to move the car by 7am (traffic wardens and congestion charge zone). I really rate it - was really lovely. Good luck with your birth.
