Hydrocortisone cream, safe to use?

My face has broken out in a rash, possibly from a change of cream or foundation. Can I use hydrocortisone cream? Info on the net is a tad confusing.

Yes you can, but use it sparingly and keep it well away from your eyes.

If you aren't sure it is defintely an allergy don't use it though, get it checked out.

use minimally it can thin the skin IIRC

thanks ladies. The last time I had this rash was when I used Oil of Olay serum. It took two weeks to go!!!

Dr told me to try aqueous cream first.

Balls to that though, after another hour of scratching at my hand in the middle of the night, I'm getting the steroids out!

Mine's an 'allergy' to contact lens cleaner.
