cyst and 6m pregnant

My sister in law to be is 6m preg and has been having stomach pains for a while now. She has been to the docs and the hospital many times and has been sent home to rest. She was admitted to hospital last night as was in agony, and they though it was her appendix. This pm the docs have confirmed that its actually a cyst. The doc is coming back to talk to her this evening about further action to be taken.

Im worried. Anyone have any experiences on cysts this late on?

my sil had one during pg and a minor op a few months after baby arived to get rid of it. Sometimes they go spontaneously.

She is in agony though.

I had a cyst which was 20cm big, found at a 6 week scan. I had it drained 4 times through my pregnancy (they basically put a large needle in it and syringed it out) but the consultant was reluctant to do this after 4 months. The cyst remained throughout the rest of my pregnancy although it was pushed up under my rib cage and it was attached to my fallopian tube, ouch! Anyway I gave birth naturally and had an operation to remove it 2 months after having my ds. However they do say that if it is not bigger than 6cm it is quite likely to dissapear on its own after the birth.
