Contractions - hurry up!

Hi
I am 41 weeks +2 today and have been having labour symptoms since Sat night. My current query is my contractions have gone from 8/9 minutes apart to 12 why would this be. This has occurred within the past two hours. I have been labouring in one way or another for 36 hours now and want to get on with it.
Plus when ever I have a contraction I need to pee uncontrollably the pee can't be held in. My mucous plus came out pretty much intact last night.
Anyone else experienced heditant labour?

i went to hospital with contractions 5 mins apart and 4cm dilated (hv checked) and when i got there contractios slowed right down to 12 mins apart and still 4cm dilated. 2hrs later they were immensely painful and i was 10cm when they checked me.
so for me the sloeing down was followed by serious labour.
