anyone had a fair discrepancy in dates/scan due dates?

by dates am due 17th April. Had an NHS dating scan which gave me 24th April, just 4 days later had a private nuchal scan which gave me 15th April. So, 9 days discrepancy.
On subsequent scans baby has always measured a week ahead than dating scan (so fits in with dates and nuchal scan), I'm only small and my previous DC's have been small babies.

I know baby will come when ready, regardless, but just wondering whether your NHS dating scan dates have been pretty bang on or whether I should go with my nuchal scan/dates/subsequent scan dates?

I don't think the dating scans are always that accurate.

I haven't had such a discrepancy in scan dates as you, but on two occasions at my 12 week dating scan my babies have been between 5 and 7 days bigger than they should have been. I know with absolute certainty when those babies were conceived. Earlier scan as 7 and 8 weeks tied in with what I thought were the conception dates.

I had dating and nuchal scan and was told that nuchal is more accurate for estimating due dates.

I've therefore gone on nuchal dates - was bf and no periods so had no clue as to dates.

My dates were a week earlier than the scan said.

DS arrived a week early (according to scan) or bang on time, (according to my dates!)

I like to think my dates were more accurate than the scanner

Thanks all, I want to go with my nuchal scan dates as that makes me 39+4 and I am getting so uncomfortable and impatient! But MW says we have to go with NHS dating scan so won't officially change date but has said that she won't let me go more than a few days over dating scan date.
