Hey,

I am 17 weeks pg with dc2, my breasts are leaking, and not just a little bit. I didn't have anything like this for a few days after my ds was born. They are sore too.
I guess it is just because this is my 2nd, but i thought i'd ask the experts :P

Yes had the same on my second. With my first it started at about 24 weeks. Weird but mw didn't think it was abnormal.

How old is your first child? If quite young, it is even more likely you will experience some leaking early on.

I had leaking breasts from around 20 weeks the strange thing is once ds was born they completely stopped leaking and I couldn't get anything from them.

Hey

in my first pg mine leaked from 17 weeks - had to wear breast pads all the way through till I finished bfing. Now heavily pregnant with no. 2 and not a leak so far. Good luck with your pg!

Thank you all. DS is 15 months so still quite young. Glad they are normal.

I leaked from that point with number one, bit later with the other two. It is a pain in the backside isn't it?

feedthegoat · 12/04/2009 20:03

I leaked enough to need breast pads from 16 weeks.

PrammyMammy · 12/04/2009 20:04

Yeah, i total pain. I always remember my sister leaking in the supermarket when she was pg with her dd, and was glad that i didn't leak untill i was feeding ds when i was all ready with my pads. Now it's my turn to get caught short lol.

I was on a weekend away in Dublin with friends and had taken my coat off on bus . Dh was quickly dispatched to nearest chemists!
