hello

This is my 2nd baby and as first was breech I had few movements. The kicks from this baby are quite uncomfortable and I am a little concerned this could signify low amniotic fliud. Went for scan a couple of weeks ago and all was ok -but the kicks do hurt a bit - is this normal?

My ds's kicks really hurt but that's because he was breech and his feet were kicking my cervix. He was like that from about 30 weeks to birth. Sorry that's probably not very helpful for you. Did the scan show the baby was ceph?

i found pregnancy pretty painful, babies would wedge their feet between my ribs, or bounce on my cervix or bladder, you could sometimes see protuding limbs so i figured it was going to be painful

Baby is already head down so arms and legs free for kicking - I am just so surprised how much it hurts!

I'm the same - 33 weeks and sometimes it makes me jump or yelp it can be that sore (a bit embaressing when you are sitting on the train!!)

I had scan last friday and fluid is fine.

When I was having DS it felt like he was scratching at the inside of my fanjo for about 3 weeks before I had him and his kicks hurt me sometimes too. He kicked like buggery, he is still a complete fidgit now.

BIBBLE from what I know if there's reduced fluid there will also be reduced movement (at least in terms of what's felt) as less capacity for baby to twist and turn etc.
I'm also feeling far stronger kicking this time round (29 weeks)that is more than just uncomfortable! Sure all is fine - lots of movement is good I'd say!
