Worried - banged my bump- is it ok?

I banged my bump of the corner of an open cupboard which was at the exact height of my bump. it jabbed into the left side of my bump and i felt a sharp pain but it subsided within a few minutes and there haven't been any other symptoms. I have felt baby move since- is this ok? They are well cushioned aren't they?

They are very well cushioned. I am sure everything's fine if there's no other symptoms. How pregnant are you?

I think it's only a problem if dive straight onto your stomach or something and as a result the pressure is spread out. If you bang one side then the baby just moves out of the way I think. I'm sure if LO is moving it'll be fine. I've banged mine loads - it's so hard to remember how big it is don't you find?

Still lots of room for moving around at 27weeks.

i crashed my car at 16 week and fell flat on my stomach at 25week and was fine after both clumsy incidents =] lots of fluid keeps um just right =]
