rash on my bump? red n itchy, is it normal?

A really itchy red rash has come up on the top of my bump today.. I'm 39 weeks... anyone else had this? should I be callin the doc? No other swelling or symptons though... and feelin baby movin still. Thanks x

Don't scratch! Honestly I had this it started on my bump and then spread it's called PUPP here mine went away as soon as I gave birth.

If the itching is on your palms or soles of feet ring hospital immediatley as this may mean you have cholestasis. However yours does sound like PUPP.

Weird just read there that 70% of women give birth to boys who have this I only had it with dd and not with my 2 boys!

I had it on my bump and turned into stretch marks, and I had scratched and scraped the skin raw - with ds I had no scratching cos I discovered that bio oil stopped the itching.

thanks so much for answering... I was going mad... Its driving me crazy but I've stopped scratching as much as I can!! There is no hand itches or feet but thanks I'll keep an eye out for that. ..and I'll try the bio oil tommorrow! anything to stop this! thanks girlsX

i had this, appeared at about 39 weeks too with dd1, the hosp referred to it as a pregnancy rash and just gave me a aqueous cream, btw, it spread all down my legs, don't scratch, it goes away quite quickly after the birth (in my experience) about a week or so.
