What should I do? Is my baby in danger?

Lots of people get food poisoning and it doesn't harm the pregnancy but it depends what food you ate and what the food poisoning bug is - you should speak to your doctor or midwife.

Hope you are ok

i had it at about the same time when pregnant, it was fine, but def see you doc to be on safe side.

Are you having sickness and diarrhea etc? I read on here recently that it's not that sort of food poisoning that is a problem for the baby. Only thing is it's important to keep hydrated, so if you weren't able to keep water down for example, then you'd need to see the doc.

If in doubt though, call the GP - that's what they're there for!

thank you. I only ate steak (dead cooked) and potatoe salad and garlic bread. My husband feels the same way. ate the same food.

I had the same for a day at about 9 weeks pg. You should be fine, just keep up the fluids and speak to doc if worried.

Most likely it's not serious, but I think you should contact your GP or on call doctor for advice.
