Fishy smelling wee twice today, but no other symptoms

Could it still be a UTI? Or could it just be because I'm still a bit dehydrated from the stomach bug I've had over the last couple of days? My wee looked a bit darker than normal, but no blood and no pain or urgency.

Does it require a trip to the out of hours doc please say no or can it wait til Monday?

I'm 17 weeks pg by the way.

I'm not sure about the smell, but I'd say the darker wee is probably a sign of slight dehydration, so lots and lots of fluids in order!

Is there a maternal assessment unit at your hospital you can call over the weekend?

If it was me, I wouldn't consider it an emergency but would probably like to speak to someone to check whether I should be seen or not.

Yes - I have an out of hours phone number. I think I'll wait until my next wee and if it's still fishy-smelling I'll phone them.

I would certainly give them a call just to see what they advise. Hope you recover nicely and don't have to spend Friday night at the hospital
